At 3DBODY.TECH 2018 Conference & Expo in Lugano.

Instituto de Biomecánica (IBV) attended the 3DBODY.TECH 2018 Conference & Expo Conference that took place in Lugano (Switzerland) the 16th and 17th October showing its latest developments in 3D Human Modelling and Anthropometry.

The IBV researcher Alfredo Ballester presented the paper 3D Human Models from 1D, 2D & 3D Inputs: Reliability and Compatibility of Body Measurements, a deep validation of the different 3D body scanning technologies developed by Instituto de Biomecánica (IBV).

Head of Innovation at IBV, Juan Carlos Gonzalez took part at the Opening Sessions showing IBV latest innovative solutions in 3DBody Modelling and Anthropometrics. The main conclusion was that the 3D body scanning with the smartphone is now possible, making possible to reach billions of people.

The program of the conference was structured, during two full days, in an opening session and 14 technical sessions in dual track, accommodating in total over 70 scientific and technical presentations, grouped according to various topics and application areas.
